New Owner of a 240sx How to know when the cutch is going

I believe my clutch is goin. I just bought the car today though and i am lovenin it. ok it will go threw first easy and soon as i shift to second if i put it down it feels like the thing loses all power and the tach goes up pretty fast and accelerates slowly not fast. I need some help cause i dont know anything about these cars the only car i know is my previous Z34 please help o by the way how much is it to get your O rings done

If it revs a little and then starts to go at the drop of the pedal in a higher gear than your clutch eigther needs adjusted or replaced. If you enter second and the power feels indirect and hasn't a chance at chirping the tires than this could be a sign also. When you rev the engine when it's out of gear it is totally normal for the revs to pick up fast and drop slowly though.
