New Owner of 2006 M45 and need a remote for rear entertainment system.

I am a new owner of a 2006 M45 and I am very happy with my purchase.

I bought it from a non-infiniti dealer which means I am missing a few things. I have the rear entertainment package but am missing the remote. I would just go to the dealer but I don't want to get raped for a remote if some here can help me out.

I also need assistance on how to get my cd changer to eject a cd. The button is not doing anything.

I had the exact same case. They were more than $200 at the dealer. I found one here for $40

I see they still have them but the price went up by $10 since I bought mine.

As for ejecting CD's don't you have to select which CD number to eject?

I got a good deal on my M from a dealership, but the last owner took everything he could out of it. Manual, NAV DVD, (had a copy in the reader), remote, headsets, lug wrench, you name it. I had to replace everything, who knows maybe I bought some things back from him on EBay!If you need some help with the model numbers of the things you want to replace, let me know. The headsets and remote are not universal Nissan or Infiniti products.Good Luck

Hey BigP. I tried selecting the CD number to eject but still nothing. I went by the dealer this weekend and the car is still under warranty until September so I will just have them fix it. Thanks for the help though.

Hey jetfxr1, thanks for helping out. It would be a huge help if you could me the model numbers for the remote and headphones. I went to a dealer this weekend and they told me it would be $295!!! for just the remote and each headphone would be about $130 a piece. I told him to go "F" himself. I hope to find it on Ebay.

Got home and there are no numbers on the remote or headsets. You may have to do what I did, call a couple of Infiniti Dealers and ask for the part numbers then go fishing on EBay. It took a few weeks before the equipment came up in my favorite searches. Sorry I couldn't help,Tom

Hi guys. I'm a recent owner of an 06 M35x and also have the same issue, No remote or headphones. Bought a replacement remote from http://www.remotes.com for $29USD. Can't find the headphones anywhere. On another thought has anyone ever tried a harmony remote? If I only had an original I could add it to the online Logitech database for other new owners as well. Let me know if anyone would be interested when I receive the replacement remote I could program each button into the harmony and upload it.
