NEW OWNER...(next week)

Discussion of Infiniti's amazing (and underrated) sport-luxury crossovers, the EX35 and EX37. For 2014, the EX series will be renamed QX50, in line with Ininfiit's new naming conventions.

Been looking for a Pearl White 2010 Journey with tech and <30K miles for $24000 and found one with 11 months left on warranty, Flying down to pick it up Tuesday. Owner splitting the cost of the flight. Myrtle beach to Hilton Head. So paying About $23,800 plus $300 South Carolina sales tax, Would rather have black Interior but I am not complaining for the price or the owner who is 69 and was the wife's car.

RWD (No need for AWD here)
NO Technology Package :frown: But I don't travel enough to need this.......
Bose & Around View Monitor Package
Premium Package YES Just found out today has this,
Splash Guards
Cargo Area Protector
Stainless Steel Illuminated Kick Plates
Tonneau Cover
First Aid Kit

Been tough to find anything here in the lots within 150 miles for less than $26K+. One available at Capital Nissan in Wilmington at $23,900 (PLUS $399 DOC FEE) It had 41K and and was silver, The rest had high miles. or were priced in the 27's with less than 30K miles.

If anyone sees anything odd that does not fit with a package or is missing let me know so i can verify before making the trip... Thanks.
I think I did ok....Not too late to back out. Has everything but the crash protection package, Although I have not seen it except in pics,

Well I have not seen it up close yet and still need to confirm the packages, I am pretty sure if it has NAV it will ave the Premium as well. Don't care about the adaptive cruise control tech.

I think its a good price considering the miles. Alternative is 2010 HHR.....$11500 and bank the rest lol. The car won;t have 40K miles until 2016. Maybe I will drive it more because its not a truck and will be more fun. I read the owners manual online last night Y I K E S the tech needs a college course!!! Love the Nissan Rogue lines but not a fan of the transmission or interior in them. I almost bought a G37 Coupe years ago (hence my join date) This is a G37 with a utilitarian purpose.....LOL. Hopefully this won't be an "almost" either... Great forum.

We shall see what happens.........No Congrats yet, When the hot is in my driveway we can pop the cork.

- Splash guards;
It is a small rubber extension located at the bottom or lower of rear wheel well. (Front and back tires) . Purpose is to prevent splash of mud or water to the side panel of the car (e.g door panel for front splash guard and lower rear bumper protection for the rear splash guard. These will keep the side of the car clean...

- A Cargo Area Protector;

It is a large rubber material that has the shape of the entire cargo area.
Basically, it protects the cargo floor from being scratch and prevent spills from anything place in the cargo.

- A Tonneau cover

It is a large cover to hide valuable materials /item you store in your cargo.
Typically, it is the same height of the rear seat and the cover extend from reat seat to the back end of the hatch glass.

- Kick plates.

Just a long aluminum/ rubber plates located on the edge (outer) of the driver and passenger floor, where the bottom part of the front driver and passenger doors meet. This is a high traffic area, where you always step on before you seat in the car. It also keep that area from being scratch.

Thanks for your great explanation, AWGD8.
And for the welcome, ArcticBlue.

I forgot to use the "notify me when a reply is posted" box, so I'm a bit late with my response. Sorry for that.

My EX37 arrived yesterday and I'm still working my way through the manual, which has the size of the phonebook of New York
:crazy:
