Hey everybody,

My name is Jimmy, from LB and got my 2008 Versa back in April. I had no real interest in getting it modded, as it was going to be my simple DD, so I opted for the base model. However, after hearing news of Tein working on some Coilovers, i got interested back in the scene.

Some info about me: Ive been a member of g1teg.org for a LONG while, as that was my first car when I came back from the hell we know as Iraq. I did a B-series swap (LS) in my 89 Integra and had my fun. I moved up to a DA, however that car got boring quick. I sold it and bought the versa. I'm no big tech head, but know a thing or two about this and that.

Now that the S.Tech's are installed, my buddy said they would invite me back over when the BASIC Coilovers are back in the states. The ones they originally had were too long. Back to Japan they went. Ill keep you guys updated.

Ohh and BTW, imma post on nissanversa.org.org, as it seems a little more devoted towards the versa.

I'm no photographer by any means, but enjoy

I believe its a 3 finger gap all around, but my buddy swears up and down its 3 in front and 2 in the rear.

Originally - they were going to outfit my car with the BASIC Coilover system, not to be confused with the custom setup of the Time Attack Versa. The coilover that they had mocked up was either too long or too short (i believe longer), so they sent it back to japan and got it tapered. It will take roughly a month before it comes back, so in the mean while, they outfitted me with Prototype S.Tech's instead.

Wow those S-Techs drop the Versa really low. Much lower than the Tanabe's. Have you had any problems with them? Blown struts?

I used to be a DA owner too haha. Just sold mine last week.

nice - how much of a drop did the Tanabe's give you?

Does anyone have the measurement of the Tanabe's drop vs Stock? Also - has anyone tried the DC Strut vs the Stillen Strut?

The Tein coil overs won't be out till the end of the year at the earliest maybe the first part of next year.Tanabe springs lower the car about one a half inches all around the Tanabe coil overs that are available now lower the car from one inch to two and three quarters of an inch.

Hope this helps.

Hmm - I just checked Stillen's website. I could have sworn they had a strut bar long ago - that was painted to the car's chasis...

anyone seen it before?
