Hi guys, im a new owner of a 03 Infinity G35 i have the car for two weeks now and im experiencing some major problems. I think i got a pretty good deal on the car it has 100k miles and i got it for $5000. I should have done more research before i bought it but i needed something to drive in the winter and i found it on craiglist, the thing has a salvage title i didnt know what it was at first but now i do the car was wrecked before. Anyways ill try to explain everything, now i know this thing has 260HP but it feels like it only has 100 doesnt pull at all, now it should drive similair to my CTS but no its loud and it feels like its barrely picking up any speed and i did change the oil and tried using 93 octane gas. What could it be ? Maybe the injectors are dirty or the fuel filter ? The car does have a air intake system but i wish it was original. Also few days ago my low beams stoped working, but before that there was this really loud noise inside the car like a relay or something spinning by the sterring wheel, when i accelerate the noise gets louder and decelerate it decreases its like something is spinning but i dont know what. Now i have to drive with my high beams which is pretty crazy dont really want to blind people when i drive plus dont really want to get pulled over. Also there is more but i want to get this resolved first, also i got a original Infinity grill but for some reason it wont fit ? Right now its just mesh as a grill and i want to install the original one but i dont think its from this Infinity the hood wont close with this one, if i post a picture can someone identify it and tell me if its the right one ?

Sorry about the wall of text im just really frustrated with this car, i do like the Infinitys but i think i made a mistake of buying this one. Im thinking of selling it when i get everything straightened out and buying a 2DR G35.

Thank you for anyhelp.

Welcome to NICO! Sounds like you got stuck with one hell of a clunker. Rest assured someone here has a good answer to give you. I will look for someone a little more atuned to your vehicle. Uno momento por favor!

Sell the car before it depreciates again. Even for 5000, you can find a nicer car with less problems.

However, it does sound like one of the injectors has gone out. You should replace all of them if you are able.

This is not good. There could be so much wrong being that it was wrecked. Hate to say it but someone got you, good.

Guess replace the injectors and see how that works. My bet is there is going to be more wrong than that.

Most of us have also noticed a problem when you call the car an "infinity" it angers the car and has more problems.

Just pray that its not your valves leaking or a ring or two that have gone bad
