I am sure this question has been asked a thousand times. But I am new to the group. I just bought a 96 240sx and I am noticing that there are no after market replacement headlights. Has anyone done some mods to use different head lights?

Thanks in advance,Marcus

gonna have to do some work to get that done. I dont think they sell a headlight replacement. You can change the front end, strawberry face or my fav headlights in the world, the mcs14 lights. Bomex also sells a piece for the 95-96 models that give the agressive look, but i dont care for it. some even paint an angled strip across the top of the lights

S15 headlights are a possibility but they look like a** in my opinion. Kouki (97-98) headlights will also require hood, fenders, and bumper. There is an informative write up on zilvia.net about the kouki front end. What's the reason behind you wanting replacement headlights?

The main reason I want to change head lights is mine are kinda yellowing. Not real bad but noticebly different than the side markers.

There are supposidly glass versions of the head lights. If you search I'm sure you will find some. Also there are a few threads on here about de yellowing the plastic ones.

someone said this stuff works good:http://www.tapplastics.com/sho...=113&

i used some heavy duty metal polish plus alot of elbow grease and got mine noticeably clearer. i was happy with the outcome, but i'd be even happier if some company made me some nice, affordable, aftermarket lights.

I am going to try the aluminum polish. If anyone knows a link to buy glass lens please forward it to me.
