hello, just getting back into a Nissan since 2003 I have been in a Subaru (in Japan) and just got back to the USA and bought a G35.

she is a little rough ad I need some advice.

157,000 kilometers on her. engine and transmission seem fine.

cosmetics are the issues.

drivers fender is damaged and both xenon headlights are broke (mounting tabs)

what is the best option for the headlight issues?
replacement looks like it will cost about $700 or more for housings.
is there any other option out there that you guys might be able to recommend?

Thanks.

Hey, don't take offense. Has been a little slow around here lately.
But, Welcome back!!
As for the fender, My daughter had both of hers on her 2000 Max bashed by a mailbox on one side and somebody flying into a parking space.
I bought 2 the same color from a salt free state on ebay for around 250 shipped!! EZ to replace if you check the FSM's.
Haven't replaced anything but oem bulbs, so no help there...sry

For the G35s, it depends on the year...but the 06 lights are better than earlier years. Feel free to use the FSM (link in my sig) for how to do it.

thanks...
the car is beginning to have more and more issues.

Passenger seat control is fubar. Back of the seat can go up and down, but the button that makes the seat go front to back does not work...gummed up and of course the seat is all the way back so it is near impossible to unbolt the seat....

AC also is either COLD at 60 or hot at 61....

Regretting buying this car.

There are a few issues with them and you seem to have found them. Power seats can have some issues with the gears and the buttons....There are also some issues with earlier models involving the electronics. What year is the G?

Yeah, 2003-2004 at least had a problem with the circuit board which controls the radio and heat/AC controls. They also had a tendency to wear the inside of the front tires.
