I just lost my s14 (Shelley we'll miss you)

So i picked up a vert, a ninety two. I had a few questions regarding interior....

1) So can I just use coupe door panels without having to take out the seat belt pillar??

2) The rear cover for the speakers, know where I can get a replacement??

3) How can I get power mirrors for my vert?

4) Reading it somewhere (before I had a s13 to begin with) to make the sleepy eyes effect, there's a ground wire I can just disconnect and tap my headlight button (the one to go up and down) where's that ground at??

5) Where can I get clear plastic vinyl to mock up a rear window for now??

i have an answer for number 4 you need to pull out the button that makes your lights go up and down on the left side of the steering wheel. find the brown wire and snip it. now just turn the lights on push the side button that would put the lights up. now turn the lights off and double click away. i am sure you will need more help with this so when you do tell me where you get lost.

First off.. Welcome to NICO!!! Congrats on the 'vert. We're really glad to have you here.

Some answers for you... 1.) No. Coupe door panels are too thin to the door to work with all the extra 'vert bracing and the seat belt pillar. They just won't fit. ]

2.) Tough find.. keep your eyes open for people parting out cars, or check with junkyards, etc.. Or, better yet... make your own. Get creative... get some kind of metal screen and shape it and cover it.

3.) You should really consider just doing a coupe door swap. The doors are interchangable between the coupe and the vert... doing this will get rid of the door pillar, and with a small wiring modification to the original door wiring harness, you can add the power mirrors that you will get with the coupe door. If you don't want to convert the entire door, you will have to cut and modify the door panels for the power mirror controls, then swap the mirrors themselves, then modify all the wiring.

5.) I've heard that marine plastic works really well. Try going to a boat and boating supply store.

wow thanks for the fast reply, man it sucks cause my interior is SOL'ed out, you think I could just trim the coupe door panels to make it work?? Because that's what I want to replace the most, just the door panels...I've been checking through the forum and it seems like ppl want to get rid of the pillars, I really really don't want to remove the pillar.

Oh well, thanks though guys.

It's ok it may have horrible interior and a ripped up curtain, but on monday it'll be a manual ka-t vert with horrible interior and a ripped up curtain.
