Happy to be a new M35x owner in Canada. I got silver w/black int. I looked at 05 Tl( too much torque steer and didn't like gauges), 06 330xi( more money, smaller, less warranty, but better handling),06 530xi(significantly more money-16,000 CAD!,less warranty, similar size), 06 IS 350(rwd,more power, much smaller, more money). I have had the car for a month now and can't believe how much equipment Nissan has put in the Infiniti for a great price. No wonder Consumer Reports has picked it number one!

Welcome to NICO!

Glad to see another four-wheel-drive M35 owner here. Did you drive and compare it to the non-4wd M35? If so, what were your impressions of that comparison.

Good to see that the M35 held its own against that other prestigious list that you compared to!

No, I didn't compare with a rwd version as I live in snow country and go to the mountains quite a bit in the winter( I live 90 mi from Banff). The weight distribution in the M35x is quite impressive( 52/48 or something like that) and with the 100% torque availability to the rear wheels I find it drives like a rwd car! I think the added weight slows the awd version .5sec in the 0-60 but for the added traction it was worth it to me.

Best of luck with your new car. I am confident you will enjoy it. I must admit, i did not test drive any other cars. The M35 was the first one I looked at, and I was sold.
