Awesome! On the BT issue that is weird. My iPhone connects and works for music and phone fine. It randomly disconnects occasionally but its not a huge issue.Kade.Sirin wrote:Huge upgrade. I'm sketching out some mods and plans. Debonair, I'm probably doing the LEDs next; already ordered a batch. Might also replace and redo the dome lights themselves. I do 3d printing and IT...
My only complaint right now is the bluetooth system. It can't play music and be connected as a phone at the same time. My dad's 2009 Accord can do that. My friend's old Mazda 3 can do that!
Do you have an Android phone vs iPhone?Kade.Sirin wrote:My only complaint right now is the bluetooth system
I have an android phone... so I can have it be paired for audio or paired for phone mode, but never both. Also when streaming audio, it does a weird skipping/cutout of sound every so often. I see it pausing on my screen. I see there's a service bulletin with an update for the nav system, so I may try that next time I'm by the dealership.Debonair wrote:Awesome! I'll have to try that again, I swear that's what I've been doing!pedsemdoc wrote:Do you have an Android phone vs iPhone?
My iPhone 6 also does music and phone, but it was a little weird when I was setting it up, I can't recall exactly what the screen displayed:
When I went to the Bluetooth settings to pair up my phone, I remember the system asking is this a bluetooth audio device vs hands free phone (or something like that). I thought I paired it once as a phone, and then made sure it worked. Then I unpaired it and then paired it as an audio device.
Every now and then it seems to lose connection, but I sometimes wonder if it is because I have 2 "MY-CAR" bluetooth connections under my bluetooth devices (one from my old M45) I need to let go - LOL.
Same thing happens with my iPhone 4s that I have connected to the iPod adapter - randomly doesn't connect, so have to restart stuff and reattach the cable.
You might want to delete your phone and try the whole repairing process again.
Nav update should fix that. In my '12 x model, I have a Note 3 that I stream my music from, and I can also talk on the handsfree as well. Should have call waiting too.Kade.Sirin wrote:I have an android phone... so I can have it be paired for audio or paired for phone mode, but never both. Oh and LEDs are ordered.
