New owner 2001 Pathfider - Need Remote control

Hi,
I just bought a 2001 Pathfinder and it came with 1 key and remote only.
Can you suggest where I can get a spare remote since the key I believe is without chip and can me made anywhere.

Most Ace Hardware stores can do the key.

You can get remotes off eBay. Do be careful as the 2001 has two different remotes with the
same FCC number. I can't be more specific as I'm 818 miles from my keys at the moment (NOT a
problem, I'm on vacation).

Why program the key I believe is regular key with no chip inside or I`m wrong?

2001 and newer Pathfinders have chipped keys. I don't remember which year was the first to use chipped keys.
