well after weeks of debating over a used g35, acura tl, audi (a4 or a6), and the m45, i picked up my new to me 03 m45. i found the perfect fit at a small local European motor car place, they gave me the price and what not i wanted. 03 m45 w/50k miles for 15k, absolutely meticulous, not a scratch, ding or scuff inside or out! its the only color i'd have it in (black). this car is really impressive, as i've only had it two days, im still finding out lots of new things, havent had a chance to read the manual.

my other vehicle is a 99 dodge dakota r/t, getting ready to slap a blower on that one... then a daily beater 00 z24 cavalier. i must really say, up until driving the m around, i was satisfied with the beater for morning commutes. after a long cruise in the m last night, then hopping in the beater this morning, i already missed the m. dont know if im going to be able to keep the miles off of it!

just thought i'd give a shout out, and see what was up!

Congrats on your purchase, You absolutely made the right choice. One of the things i didn't know about our M's is that if u press the unlock button on the remote, the windows will roll down. to roll them up you have to do it manually with the key. Hope this helps but maybe you all ready knew this.

Hello,Welcome. That is a silly good price. Highly recommend adding the Infiniti Elite warranty if still possible. Given the mileage, should not be a problem.Cheers,M.L

Good info, when I read that I was like no, his must just have window modules on it, then I went out to the garage and sure enough, windows roll down if you hold the unlock button. Wish they rolled up when you held the lock down. Good looking out...

I went to that same place, ended up buying my car from the Sewell dealership instead.

I would get the car thoroughly checked out inside and out. I went there for a test-drive and 2 minutes into the test-drive, returned the car. The car had a flat and had obviously not even been turned over in months. Completely inexcusable as I had called them 2 days in advance and drove up from Austin to check the vehicle.

Make sure all your fluids are in good condition so you don't have any issues off the bat.

For what it's worth, the cars looked decent there, but they didn't really take much care of their inventory so it never hurts to be safe

thanks for the heads up. i took the car on an 'all-day' test drive before i bought it, about 3 hours of actually road time and to a friends shop with a lift to inspect it. everything checked out. i added a mercury warantee, i had one on my truck when i bought it used, and they took care of everything when i needed them, so i bought again from them.

the only thing i missed was the damn gas gauge problem. gonna have to take it in when a few other problem arise.

after driving it the past few days, i must say, there is alot of pedal in this car, especially on the highway! sucks there's no mods available

oh ya, out of curiosity what dealership was it? there were three in the area around the same price, one was rubish (definetely wasnt taken care of, missing pieces of interior trim), another lot didnt even bother coming out to tlk to us when we walked the lot, and then the one i bought. if it was the dealership with the marenello and two racing jags, then it was the same place.

Most definitely agreed!

Some of the electronics are pretty darn expensive (NAV, screen display, etc.) and the extended warranty is good insurance to have.

Welcome to the family. You also might want to check to make sure that your full size spare is a good tire. If not, you might want to take care of that before you catch a flat, unlike myself
