Hello!

I've been a member on Club-S12 for a few years now, but finally joined on here. Hoping to find some info/parts for a swap I'm in the middle of. I drive a 1988 Nissan 200SX, currently in the middle of a CA18DET swap, and a 1985 Nissan 200SX Turbo.

This is my '88:

And the one pic of my '85 lol

Thanks for having me guys. Hopefully I can find all the info I need. :bigthumb:

The '85 is an R180 and the '88 is an R200 I believe, or the opposite. Both have 4.11s in them.

I'd like to try and make it to Carlisle. I wanted to go earlier this year or whenever it was but I couldn't make it.

Yes, both cars are open diff sadly. I'll have to fix that someday.

Sorry. Neither are for sale. They is ma babies. I've had the 88 since I was 15 and I've only had the 85 about a rear, but I've put a lot of time getting it running as well as it is. They hold too much sentimental value. That and I like being "that S12 guy" in NWA. Lol

Yeah, I'm still trying to figure out what to do about the diffs.

I own the only two in the area lol. And the turbo is from Oklahoma. Me and a buddy picked it up last year. Thank you criagslist.

You have an 88 notch eh? I've been wanting an 84 since they have a solid axle. Then just slam it. :D

:naughty: How about an S13 rear end swap.

Or I think you jest need to find like a turbo 280zx rear end or something and take the diff. I think the diffs were the same size and mounting.

Yeah, if you want a weak R180 rear end...

I would go with the Frankenstein of Z31 and S12/13 parts. Unfortunately, there's no real S12 help here on NICO. You have to go to club-S12 for that.
