Background: So, I've been considering a new car for awhile now, although I liked what I had (a decent car, no car payment - well it was a 98 Pont Sunfire Convertable with a slit in the roof, and the rear window pushed in, no rear defogger (as it broke), AC needed recharge/fluid and the passenger window took 20 min to go up but it drove great although the puddles of water on the back floor/truck and occasionally on the front seat was a nuisance) I was not going to make through the winter with this car.
Research: Cost, looks, drive and comfort is high on my list. although i tore between a small SUV and car, I've borrowed friends cars too many times that I think a small SUV would have acccomodated. I've seen many Rogues on the highway and MA and really like the look. The only ones that catch my eye more are the Lexus/Acura/BMW all well outside my cost range. After reading this forum, all the car websites, consumer reports I decided if the CVT, the rear view and the drive/comfort all passed my expectations, the Rogue would be my next car. I spent a lot of time reading about the options, comparing the 3 versions, and getting the invoice price.
Test Drive; So i start my vacation on saturday and figure I will test drive the Rogue, I really liked it. 6 hours later I drove it home
