haha. hold on a sec. i have the cheesed*ck pinstriping too. i was meaning to remove it, but never got around to it and haven't had my car for hella days so....it'll come off first thing when i get her back.

How would you remove the pinstripe? Is it as easy as de-badging or would it require repainting?

I should ask my brother since he did autobody work for 10 years but this thread satisfies my lazy streak..

pin striping these days is usually the stick on vinyl like decals.. if its custom pin striping then its sometimes painted on.

the vinyl sticker pin striping is easy to remove.. and doesnt necessarily require the hair dryer.. but it can make it easier.. but either way i would have car safe bug/tar remover (ie: turtlewax) and wipe the area free of excess stickyness lol
