Wow!

Looks like we have a winner.

OK, I'll go ahead and get crackin' on these.

Won't be able to do black with the company we're working with, although that would be damn cool...

I'll make sure to get some XXL and a few XXXL ones for our "Big Dawgs".

Pricing will be awesome, you guys will be pleased.

They look great! I think the white looks fine, but if black is available I'll probably get one of each. Make the small size too - there's at least one skinny guy here

I like em.

Also any word on the next round of Polo's? I'd like to get one before school starts. They require us to wear collared shirts and I wanna be rocking with NICO.

I'll rock one, probably 2, just in case.

Sad that I've become an advertising whore... ONLY for NICO though .

I'd love to tell you I like them, but since you asked for honest opinions, I'll give mine. The front is ok, pretty good, the wording on the back is too much. And I've never been fond of the NICO logo, it doesn't make any sense to me, and looks hand drawn. Keep in mind, at my job, I deal with literally, hundreds of logos, so I'm very aware of corporate branding. When I design a uniform, every logo has to be a specific size, colors are all PMS, etc. I am not trying to be a jerk here, just giving an honest, proffesional opinion.

Good info.

The NICO logo wouldn't make sense to anyone but those with a knowledge of vintage Datsun... That's where the dual-banner design came from, down to the colors.

The lettering was designed by a guy hired by NICO's founder back in the day, we've just never seen fit to change it. Quirky, but recognizeable.

The back was my creation.... I wanted something that would tell people at a glance, what we're all about. Especially if I'm dropping $2K on shirts.

Certainly open for suggestions and revisions though!

p.s. Kev, that brings up a question I've always had about so many logos I see in your line of work - they don't convey what the company is all about, or they're downright misleading. Maybe it's the "international" thing... 90% of the logos and sponsors in F1 are a mystery to me.

I like the logo and you can sign me up for a 2 or 3 or 4 or... however, I do think that 'NICO' has inconsistent kerning and letter width. Is it supposed to be like that?

and... umm.. what is that circle inside the 'O' of NICO?

*whisper.. mummble* the 'N' doesn't match the style of the rest of the letters...

woo hoo sign me up for a few!

Greg, glad you took it how I intended. I get the blue and red stripes, I used to have one of the 510 slot cars back in the 70's w/ that paint scheme. I think regarding knowing what a company does by the logo, that's very hard to do. Does Coke really make you think of soda? It's just an old-fashioned font, but you know what it is. It's more about branding, brand awareness is the key. Then having a clean logo that fits with your brand image. The current NICO (lettering) is inconsistent in size, kerning, and looks like a bunch of different fonts.

Otoniel & Kev - Let's see some submissions for a revision!

I'm open to see what you guys can come up with, as long as it doesn't veer too far away from what we have (preferably just a font change)...

I think we'd all prefer black (actually, I'd like to have a black and a white, black for cool, white for functionality, like at NOPI, when sun + black shirt = heat with no refuge), but given that our only choice is white, I'd venture to say the want for a black shirt won't be stopping any orders.

I would prefer black as well, or some other color, like red or blue, it's just white attracts dirt so easily..... and leg humpers
