Whats up?! I'm Karla, I found this Forum searching for God knows what, so I decided to register!I am a very proud owner of an 07 Sentra 2.0 and I wish I had the option to purchase a SE-R or a Spec-V but couldnt because i'm a first time buyer and the axxhxxxs at the dealership wouldnt finance me one. But anywho, i'm also here to find out-of-market whatnots. I'm a car fanatic since I work for Nissan, so i thought i would post some of my opinions and knowledge in a forum! Sadly this thread made me realize I can post in the Sentra forums lol.. w00t, 94 Sentra XE w/ 100K miles and rusted to hell = awesome winter car i picked up a couple months ago for 1,000 balloons. saves me from driving the 240.

i should rally the thing when i'm tired of it.

Me on the phone trying to avoid a hotel van, and a 2' pole at a gas station. Took a right to sharp and hit it. I work at Nissan and got touch up paint, but looks like it may need more than that. i havent gotten the money yet since i had to put 800 down for insurance in Oct so that screwed me up a bit on payments and such. Yea.... that's what happened. I have a question to anyone that knows, i have read a couple of posts regarding Noise in some of the 07 sentras. Well i have a noise too but i dont know if its the same, when i drive especially at low speeds (which is usually when driving in my apartments or small neighborhoods, i notice a loud buffeting sound that sounds like my right tire/tires are flat, but when i look at them they look normal. is it the suspension? or the tire/tires needing to be rotated again?!

Probably related. Have the dealer mechanics check it out, specifically the suspension on the side with the noise and the steering rack.

a woman on a cell phone getting into an accident? that never happens.

A strong buffeting noise could be caused by this:



fix by calmly unlocking the doors and asking him to step out of the vehicle.

then proceed to the dealership and have em check it out. how's the alignment?

Haha, very funny!!! i will have it taken to the dealership, i just want to sound a little smarter while there, they tend to push most women around like they have no knowledge. but anywho, and jimmy buffet in my car!? NEVER!

i will get pics soon, i just have to upload them to a imaging site, because photobucket is blocked here at work. ya know, we may have pictures of upcoming Nissans and they dont want employees to share them with unauthorized personnel.

Despite not knowing what a buffeting noise is, lol...you'd have to give some more detail. when does the noise mostly occur?

It's tough when people talk about mystery noises...I mean I could guess loud tires, a bad wheel hub (which would be strange), something rubbing. Hopefully whatever is wrong can be fixed for free by the dealership...if they try pulling a fast one on you, you can always come back and ask about it.
