Hello everyone, just registered couple minutes ago and this is my very first post. After watching JGTC last Dec. 18-19 at California Speedway, I've fallen inlove with drifting. Now my goal is to get me an S13, try to learn how to drift and be happy for the rest of my life. Now that I found this site, it will give me ideas and will be able to learn all about S13 and other Nissan cars.

Good luck. Everyone's really nice around here and will have tons of answers. You've got a lot to learn but its worth it and fun to have the knowledge.

Thanks for the welcome, guys. I know it will take a lot of time, money and patience in order to achieve our goals. And yep, that is my Evo.

I wish I know how. It is hard and I dont think it is possible to drift an AWD car.

Oh it's very possible and looks really cool. Though if you value your evo I would suggest not drifting it as you will most likely wreck whatever car you use for drifting. Numourous times.

Sure it is, but its a harder to find help on how to AWD drift. Then again, any car will "drift" if you turn hard enough.

Man I was watching a video the other day of a guy drifting the hell out of his evo. He was a pro rally driver, but damn was he smoothe on the black top.

AWD = mad drift.

It's smokier, more insane, and a little harder (especially with the grip of an Evo), but it can be done. You ought to meet up with some people who already drift at a track one day and join them for a ride. Then, assuming you feel daring enough, and can pay for fresh rubber ASAP, take the Evo out and throw a little oversteer into the turns, gradually working towards a drift.

Don't take my word on that approach though, I've got FWD .

WAIT! I've done some mad JDM-tyte dirtlicious sideways insanity in The Beast, and some crazy street-oriented oversteer adventures have occured too... so maybe I know something... ?

It's still FWD... dammit.
