Ok. I need a new lateral arm and radius rod. On everythingg35.com $28.81 and $32.09. When I called up infiniti they said for the parts only it will be $300+.

Should I trust everythingg35.com that their product is what I need?

#8 and #9

Thanks in advanced.

And yes I did think about going adjustable. Like in the kinetix rear camber/traction package. That sells for $380 for the whole back. Not just one side. But to be honest. I'm more then likley never going to lower my car. Plus I don't have that extra cash.

As for suspension parts, I don't mind buying them form autozone, if I must. I saved a significant amount of cash ( like $200+) buying the front lower control arm of my little nissan in 2003 (both) from Autozone than buying it from the dealership. Never had a single issue with it. And, it appears Everything G35 sells original Nissan parts--seems they are Infiniti of Scottsdale--maybe. So, I would go with them. Dealer prices can be way over priced.

Now, if this was an electrical or electronic part or heating and cooling part, i would certainly suggest buying the part from the dealership.

I know you can trust them. I just don't know if it's the exact part you need. Call and ask for Joe. Then triple check that it's in stock.

Good luck and let us know!

I just sent them a message pretty much stating the same thing. And asking if that was the correct part. I gave them the make/model/year/vin. They should be able to know which one is right for me.

The infiniti dealer said they need my vin because there were 22 different radius rods and crap.

Kewl... but I still recommend dealing with only Joe... he seems to actually care and his C.S. is great.

Make SURE Joe handles your order. The other guys there are douche-nuggets. Or at least a couple of them are.

**Update**

Notice figure #8.That is how it is supposed to look.

Here is mine.

here is another pic

Gay. Gay Gay.

I'll Update when I'm done. But overall this project sucks. And is the worst one I've done so far on my G. Specially because this bent rod has made my car un-drivable for a week. Figure #9 still has to be changed. It is slightly bent and needs to be changed.

Any hints will help. Thank you.

On top of that I will have to get an alignment and buy a new tire because I blew one.

They didn't send me the wrong part. I was showing the reason why I needed a new one. As far as I know the correct part was sent.

With both #8 and #9 screwed up I think I'm going to have to take it to a shop. It's becoming a pain in the *** trying to fix this in an appartment complex parking lot. I have it on jackstands so no weight is being put on that back tire.

You should have someone put them in safety things like brakes and suspensions are things you only get one chance to do right. I beat that into all the new kids in the shop. You may not be able to get the full torque required to keep them tight. In addition to that you may also have damaged your hub and or bearing, I thorough inspection should show if any other damage is present, and an alignment is mandatory. I didn't even know that Autozone sold suspension parts, what brand are they?

The parts I got are brand new OEM parts from scottsdale infiniti. Alignment is definatly going to happen. If Anthing feels funny or sounds funny I'm going to a shop. At that point I would just be done with it. This project annoys the hell out of me.

**Update Bump**

For those that care. I have more pictures, and best of all my baby can be driven!!!!!! Now I just need to buy a new tire and get an alignment and all will be gravy.

This piece was bent too bad to get off. So I cut it. Was a dirty whore to cut. even with the tungsten carbide hacksaw blade. Remember the car is in a apartment complex parking lot. So no help from electricity.

Two broken brothers.

I have all these pics on my myspace page under the folder "curbs hurt" lol.
