NEW need help with first car.

I am pretty sure that i have a power of steering leak because, its all over the FLOOR, i can hear it making a funny noise, and i can also feel it when i turn that its going out . My car is too low meant too raise it but the point is i went over a train track and scrap really bad i think this is what started it. HELP please, is there more than one place this liquid leaks, where should i check, and how much too fix this? Thank you.

Again My first car so i dont know much any info would be nice.

bring it to a mechanic. download the fsm if you are sort of mechanically inclined (doesn't sound like you are) - you can search fsm/factory service manual on here.

Only places for p/s fluid to leak is power steering rack, power steering lines (hard line, return line, hi-pressure line), & the pump itself. It's all on your driver side.

I strongly suggest you have someone more experienced look @ your car for you or with you.

oh.... okay i know for sure its not the pump or wires so it must be the steering rack. I jacked it up and it seemed like it was coming from something connected to the wheal in a way.I am guessing this is the steering rack would make since because like i said it started after i hit the train track.

Also if anyone could answer me one more thing. Is it okay to drive with low power steering fluid?

I am asking because it does not sound good when i turn the steering wheal.

Best way to find a leak is working with a clean area. Go buy some Gunk and clean up around the areas you're suspecting the leaks.
