Hey guys just picked up a 94 300zx vert and the original owner did a muffler delete. I was thinking of getting some new mufflers to weld in its place.. any suggestions? Also was just thinking of welding in new straight pipe just so it exits out the back. Think it will be to loud? If so what mufflers should I buy?

I put Thunderbolt stainless dual outlet on mine, they are half the price of magna flow and sound good. I dreaded the rice burner fart can sound, and these are deep and throaty.

I would prefer a straight through I think.

I've found Magnaflows to be the best option for the Z32 IMO, and would stay away from larger diameter fart cannons and DEFINITELY not do a straight pipe out the back...you want LOUD and crappy sounding, you'd have that.
Use a nice 2 1/2" Magnaflow and fill the gap at the pipe with weld, you'll have a nice deeper sound and NO rasp...anything else besides upgraded stuff like pictured above, you don't need our help...

i just recently redid my exhaust, and i have a 2.5" catback with a magnaflow X- pipe, and knock off magnaflow mufflers, and my exhaust not is not only cleaner, but idle and 2k cruise drone is much quiter then it was with the factory Hpipe resonators, and magnaflow 1in 2 out blast pipes. plus i took the liberty of doing some always classy jdm turn up tips

Nice...and good call with the knockoff, I did those for the NA and was just as happy as the real Magnaflows on the TT.

Ya man i love the way they sound. Even quieter on the highway. They make it sound alittle thumpy at idle
