ok we just redid my head yesterday and i only have 13 miles on the new motor, now i have oil in the cylinders .. its a possibility that i put too much oil in(like 1/2 - 2/3 quart). im thinking its making its way past the valve seals, does that make sense? would draining the oil and filling it to the correct level possibly correct this problem?

im a student and i have little to no money left after all this, please help!

Need more info such as, Why the rebuild? "We redid my head yesterday" what do you mean? What did you replace and so forth? Was it pressure tested? Was the block rebuilt? Did the pistons get new comp and oil rings? If you think that it has too much oil just drain some out and then fill back up to required level and DONT OVERFILL. If you put too much oil in the engine it will froth up and get air bubbles in the oil from the crankshaft spinning in and out of it. Which, in turn will ruin the bottom end. Seen it twice, although, they overfilled by 2-3 quarts.
