Is it possible that i could drop some money into my ka24e? An sr20 is a little expesive to come by and i dont see myself swapping one in anytime soon, but at the same time my engine has a lot of miles. What is the best option?

You know, this is probably in the top 5 most asked questions on this board. What it really comes down to is personal preference. What will you be doing with the car? KA24E's are great motors, they do have their ups and downs and are generally good when adding more HP, but they do have their limits. It will get expensive around 220hp or so when you need to start doing some hardcore internal motor work for it to be safe. Do some searching on the boards as I come on this forum once a week and see this same question asked every time.

no offense... but this is an expensive hobby (if your looking to make it so)... my advice for the cheapest route... intake, header, 2.5" catback (all of which can be purchased through ebay LOL)

but the single cam is crap tho... check the classifieds every once in awhile, you might be able to pick up a ka24de for cheap (everyones tossing them out nowadays)...

my last advice...ditch the single cam, sell all the ebay products your just bought (except the exhaust) and buy a dual cam ka. then go back on ebay and buy an intake and header for your dual cam ka.
