Got my halos installed today after work. It didn't go as planned, but when does it ever.

The slight orange you see is from the turn signal bulb. I'm going to replace that with a higher end clear bulb with amber light.

Normally you'd think to put a halo around the main projection lense, as thats where it belongs, but it just didn't look right there. you could see too much of the mounting and some of the wires. So one in the fog, and one in the turn signal.

Opinions?

They'll look better on the 03-05. It just got dark enough here for me to get a good look. WOW. They are BRIGHT! They are so white that now my projections look yellow! Gonna have to upgrade those now. I'm definately happy with the install.

Yes, PIAA's white LED replacement for the 194 bulb.

So do I... but in the meantime, I'd just like to be able to have my fog lights on with the parking lights... I think that may be the redneck equivalent to halos, but does anyone know if this is possible?

Not trying to steal your thunder Sneaky... just curious....

Yes it is very possible. I plan on doing that soon myself, just to have the option. Your fog is hooked up to a relay that only allows your fogs to have power when your headlights are on. All you should have to do is find the lead wire that goes from the relay to the headlight wire, cut it, and splice it to your parking lights.

Where that relay is located is a different story, but that is what you'll need to do. Its probably located with the rest of the relays, infront of your battery. I'd need a wire diagram to confirm which one now, but I'll see what I can do this week to find it the hard way.
