hey whats up guys, i picked up my vert about a month ago, was destined for the junkyard, my neighbor is a tow truck driver, called me, and i went and bought it for 500 bucks. ive been lurking around the forum for a while, because i already have a 1990 240sx coupe. heres pics of the vert.

i already have a top coming in, 400 bucks, i got the car for so cheap because the guy was told it was going to be 3000 dollars for a new top, because i guess tops have to get sewn in, and thats the cost of labor. his car was kbb at 2000 bucks, his insurance gave him 1500 and and he wanted his money worth and sold it for 500. the elise is my neighbors, he has 3, the one he has now is going to be raced, it now has full decals, and a built motor

Welcome.......glad to see you make it over here. Another Va vert. We need to get all the Va verts together and do a photoshoot. Mine should be rolling out of my garage in a month. @#$%body work.

sweet man, glad to here it! you need to clean up the vadriven thread and get some recent pics!

but, on the note of the top, ive fount one from http://aabestco.com/about.ihtmlfor i think it says 400 bucks. anyone had any experience with them? is it hard to replace the top? me and my dad have looked at it, and it doesnt seem the difficult. also, should i just go to a local shop, and have it replace for around 650 bucks?

just sold my 90 coupe for 800 bucks, so new parts for the vert are in order, im looking at a new top, and having the exhaust redone, because its very rusty, and with whatever left over money i have, is going towards the interior
