I know Pacesetter makes a set of headers for your truck. There are a couple of places that sell cams for that engine, as well as adjustable cam gears too. Exhausts and such are getting harder to find as well, but can still be had.

A truck like that is a nice find. I'd like to find one like that myself. Always figured I'd upgrade the fuel system, or even swap the whole setup for a 2wd newer S/C'ed version of the 3.3L with a manual. Nice little sleeper action!

There are claims that Nissan's 3.0L power plant has been on record at close to 1000 HP at the crank. This claim has more to do with the Nissan 300ZX twin turbo but the engines are closely related.

IF you can find a 300Z (It's got to be the VG series 3.0L) with a donor motor and a single turbo your D21's engine bay will have just enough room to fit it. The transmission should also bolt right up, but a quick serial number check on your trucks transmission will be able to tell you for certain which engine you can use.

FACT: A friend of mine had an early 90's model pathfinder 4x4 with a 3.0L. He grenaded the stock unit and bought a short block from a single turbo 300. That new motor bolted right up to the Pathfinder's 5spd transmission and he was kicking himself that he never bought the turbo to go with it. Too bad. Because this motor used to have a turbo on it, it had the low compression of high 8's to 1. HE had to rev the snot out of that engine on the highway and it evntually puked a rod out the side. Too bad, a 1990's turbo 4x4 Pathfinder would have been slick.

The L&P Supercharger setup wasn't bad either. But I just heard he blew it up. Overheated it and trashed the motor. Now we're putting it on another engine. Might be a tricked out D21 SAS'd rolling on 37"ers.

Those VG's can handle the boost, that's for sure. Just keep it light until you plan on a rebuild. Boosting a tired motor can be hazardous!
