Hello everyone two weeks ago I purchased my first Infiniti 06 M45. I absolutely love this car. I have been looking for about four months and every time I found one for some reason the dealer had sold the car or it was in a pending sale. Anyway I found an M45 with 53,000 miles and no wreck history at all for a great deal. I immediately changed the oil to Mobil 1 and I only had to clean the air filter since the previous owner had dropped in a k&n filter.

Couple of issues I need help with:
1) Sunroof opens only halfway. There's is no two or three inches at a time like I've read in previous posts. It opens with no problem and at regular speed but only halfway.
2) All four Tire pressure sensors read ** on my screen. I found the resetting post I will be trying that out today.

Front brakes were really warped so I resurfaced the rotors and it helped greatly but I'm not really happy about them so new rotors are in plan. Has anyone tried rotors from brake performance? Their add is on this website but no one seems to comment about them.
Also I've been reading about the Element 114 exhaust and after seeing that video posted on here I think I will order one.

Get the BrakeMotive brake kit on EBay. Search for "BrakeMotive M35" and buy. Best bargain for brakes around.

Thanks for the reply. I have these on my Eclipse GST but on a hard brake the heat up really quick and I can feel them sort of grind. This could be due to the rotors being small and they are pretty noisy on regular braking. But other than that they work really good. I did read a lot about these rotors for the M's and no one seems to have any complaints about the issues I've had. I guess because they are a lot bigger rotors more surface area.

Sounds like you may not have TPMS installed since you are only getting ***

The TPMS light only turns on about 20 minutes of continuos driving but my screen never reads the actual pressure.

Brake-motive kit cant be beat, its awesome. They are a little "grindy" at first, but once the pads wear down a bit after a couple of days, they're silent.
You have to be moving for the TPMS to read the actual pressue.
Sounds like you need to re-calibrate your sunroof.

I would def. recommend the brakemotive kit from ebay. Many of our members have purchased it and Im yet to see a complaint. Look it up in the search as I know it has been discussed at great lengths including pictures etc. The *** reading just means that you most likely dont have the TPMS sensors within your wheels. Are they aftermarket wheels? Many times the owners dont want the added expense of taking the TPMS out of the stock wheels and switching it to new aftermarket wheels. Ive got the TPMS in my stock winter wheels but not in my nice summer wheels. My tire warning light will come on my dash after 20 mins of highway driving just like you mentioned due to not having the TPMS installed, no biggie. Enjoy the car, post some pics! What color/package is it and what are you plans for it?

Lets' see if this works. It took me a while to figure how to post pics. It has stock rims no after market so I'm not sure why the TPMS is not linking up. The car came with a rear entertainment system, a clear front bra that covers the hood, side mirrors and headlights, for some protection from road debris.
Future plans are:
1) Darker Tint
2) New Rotors all around (Brakemotive seems like the right choice)
3) New Exhaust (I really like the last video FINIKM35 posted on the Element 114)
4) New Tires ( Still have about 60% thread left but this car is now my daily driver so I know I will soon need tires)

You had/have a bunch of jibberish in your link. You need everything from the http:// in the beginning to the .jpg (or .jpeg, .gif, .bmp - these are all image formats) at the end.

Looks really clean!!
JMO, but I think you should remove the front license plate holder if your state allows it...Texas doesn't but I took mine off anyway
Nice color--mine's diamond graphite too.

I'm in love with your car's color. Mine is black, which I like, but 1) it's a b**** to maintain and 2) doesn't look as good as yours.

P.S. Is it lowered, or is the M35x really that much higher? Mine has the aero kit too, but it doesn't look as good. Am I just seeing things? :S

Thanks for the comment guys! I also live in Texas. I really had not thought about the front license plate but Its a good idea to take it off. I love the color, sport and luxury at the same time. Stock suspension on it.

Very nice. I def. need a lip kit and rear spoiler as well. Too bad it's not easy to find. Don't want that ebay version either I want OEM.

Cars looking good tho!

Question, is that an aftermarket rear entertainment screen? I see the screen has some sort of swivel function on it and but I dont remember if OEM rear entertainment screens swivel.

Thanks TXT! It is after market I guess the previous owner had it installed. It also has the tv tuner but only picks up analog channels (little hard to see with no HD) but DVD works great and my three year old loves it.
