hey fellow m enthusiasts... i recently purchased an 03 m45... got a great deal on it and i am in love with the car.... my problem is my cruise control will not engage... a message pops up on the nav screen saying i need to contact my dealer... well i was wondering if there might possibly be a cheaper alternative then going to a dealer... and also do the 03's have bluetooth capabilities?

Hello,Welcome to NICO. If your car is equipped with ICC (intelligent cruise control), you might want to check the the sensor is dirty or damaged. If the laser is obstructed, the system will not engage. Consult your owners manual for the location of the sensor. It is below the bumper.

If not that, then more than likely, there is a fault with the system and needs to be checked out.Cheers,ML

I have the same problem on my '03 M with ICC. Also gas gauge issue.if you figure out what the fix is, please post it. If I get mine checked, I'll post too.

thank you i will check sensor if not sensor i will have it serviced.... once i figure it out i will post anymore advice is welcome
