Hey now! Here is the story of my 240. We moved to Fl a few yrs ago and my hubby started working at a Nissan dealership in Vero. I was going up to see him and right in front of me was an old couple driving the car. They pulled into the dealership and went up to hubby. It seem the owner was sick and couldn't drive her car anymore. They asked hubby if he wanted it for $4000. It only had 65k on it and was in minty mint condition. Of course I wanted it.Funny thing is now we have a car lot and go to the auctions all the time. I found myself a 97 Firebird that I thought I wanted so I put my 240 on the lot to sell. Well, the only offers I got were for a couple of thousand...people couldnt understand why I wanted more for the car. Anyway, I had an epiphany yesterday and thought "What the hell am I doing"??? A Firebird is a dime a dozen but my 240, well, I would never see one like that again. So here we go with another tag transfer and I'm taking my sweet baby home.I need to have a new window put into the top....it's been sitting in my garage for 2 yrs.LOL Will post pics of her when I get her home todayLG

Welcome aboard LG!

Make sure you enter your baby in the 240 Vert registry, and we're eager to see pics!

p.s. Good choice - a 97 Firebird is a poor substitute for a droptop 240!

The bird is/was a piece of nice looking junk. The only thing I had to replace on the 240 was the starter. The Bird always had little things going wrong with it. Pretty car but the novelty wore off in about 3 months. Next time I have a car craving, I just drive one off the lot for a while. Lorri G
