traded a KA24DE for this, i still have the KA, guy hasnt delivered the truck yet so hopefully he does soon. Going to make this a daily driver and retire the 2wd. Get all the usable parts off it and let her go.

yeah... ratsun seems to hate on the 720 for not being a 'real' datsun...

we don't discriminate!

my 2wd says datsun on it, and it has an L20 in it

the yellow 4x4 is engineless now. Guy took it out of there. If he ever delivers it im going to put my engine out of the 2wd in it. already got an oil pan lined up.

really hoping to use it as a daily driver. the 2wd is nice but really im tired of riding that low, bottoming out, scraping, a-arms hitting the caster bars etc lol

i lowered mine

the a arms are about an inch away from the caster bars. ill have to take a pic sometime and show you what i mean. i need drop spindles really so i can raise the torsion bars. not to worried about it tho right now. if that guy delivers the other truck then this one is getting gutted. ill let someone on ratsun have it for their 620 body swap. then they can have disc brake setup.

i need to cut my bump stops down a little bit for autocross... other than that i have no problems...

i'm still debating on whether to get spindles or not because i may end up doing coilovers... in the back i'm gonna get the leafs re-arched so i can get rid of the stupid blocks

I'm on ratsun also. Don't know much about any thing older than a 620 so I don't post there regularly. Welcome it's a lot more fun here.

Hey fellow 1980 Datsun 720 owner from Oregon. What is the canopy on your top picture? Looks great. I can't seem to find one that fits nicely like yours.

Welcome to NICO. I'm Zombro on Ratsun, but don't post much there.

I'm glad we have a good 720 forum again.

Good god izzo, it's about time you found this place. There's lots of good info. Haha I don't think I ever did a proper intro here...
