New member to the 240sx side!!

hey guys well im new to the 240sx side of nissan.. i used to own a 300zx tt 2+2 umm i blew engines out and eventuall i sold it!
umm ive been wanting a 240sx for a whiile so now hat i bought one im here lol well hope to be talking to sum of u!!!

well specs about the car..
1991 240sx chassis 137.000 and 65k on the engine. 5 spd.
got it for $2,300
swapped from a ka24e to a ka24de
has rota rims 18x9.5 front and rear. with 5 mm. spacing in rear.
has 300zx brake discs 5 bolt conversion
welded diff.
kts coilovers.
rolled fenders.
mishimoto radiator. and other than hats its stock..not really sure about bodykits..it looks nice.
ill post more pcs tommrow or might as well right now lol

welcome. in the future, try and rotate your pics to the correct orientation. i, along with many others, don't want to have to turn our heads to look at s***. no angle pics either. i like the green.

all 91 s13s came with a ka24de, unless some1 purposely put it a single cam but i doubt it.

Welcome! You can't UNweld a welded diff. well ive never seen it happen. just buy an open diff and swap it out, really easy (thats if you want to go back to 1-way). you're just now starting and you've beat me in modifications!

Go to the salvage yard, pull the viscous diff of a '96 Infiniti J30. Direct swap. Costs maybe $60 to $90 tops.

well about the j30 diff... umm ihave a 300zx swapped out i guess hub does any of that matter...??

well for under the hood.. for the time being ima leave it alone.. got no job which means no money.. mabe if i get a part time ill hook it up with a ka-t ..=] but now just dreaming! i like thats white 240 that s*** is dope!!!

If you didn't change your axles or output shafts, the J30 diff should be a direct swap...
