Hey everyone,

This is my first post, but I've been browsing around here as a guest for some time now. My name is Jeffrey and I live in Rosemead, CA. I'm 17 years old, but will be 18 next month. I plan to get a '97 or '98 240sx in the near future (wish me luck on this because I'll need it!). Happy Holidays everyone!

Welcome bud. Best of luck finding that s14, '97-'98s are toughies. Once you get it, you'll only buy Nissan for the rest of your life. I mean, how many other car makers offer interchangable injectors, body parts, engines, etc.? Good luck. -Mike

Welcome. Most of the 97-98 are over priced so don't count on getting a loan unless you find one decently priced. Good luck with your search. Keep saving up, you will end up spend all you have on the car, whether its insurance, parts, or etc.

Hey man good luck with the cali emmisions and all that Jazz if you mod the motor. I am afraid of when it spreads this far. MARTA is annoying enough. and all that computer testing crap. Bah it just sucks.

MARTA made it's way up there? I live less than an hour south of Atlanta and we don't have a MARTA connection. Apparently they're about to have a bus route... not that I want a connection but... yeah... weird.

I had no problem getting a loan on my '98 for $9800. In fact, they valued it at $10,125, so I got a loan for that amount and put the difference towards the tax on the car.

Yes, 97-98s are pricey, but the KBB/NADA on them is still high.

man, my friend picked up a 95 SE for 3,000.

body is perfect, runs great, black leather interior.

the auto transmission sucks though. it looses steam at around 100 mph. car handles really nice though.

i was beating the crap out of it yesterday, and once it hits 100, you have to keep it floored.

i was doing some nice burnouts and power slides. it has decent torque, but the top end makes you want to kill yourself.

once it warms up, that damn KA is gonna find itself at the top of the scrap heap.

wheres my RB?

I've been browsing for a '97-'98 S14 for some time now and have come up dry almost everytime. Those suckers are almost impossible to find. Also, I prefer stickshift to automatic because I like to have more control over the car. BTW, what is a KBB/NADA?

Kelly's Blue Book and uh...National Dealer's association? something like that...

anyway, it's guides to the price ranges of the cars or how much they're valued anyway...

price guides basically.

welcome to the fun and gl finding a 97-98 manual. they are hard to find but if you find one take good care of it. another option if you really like the look of the kouki is take a zenki (95-96) model and convert it...souldnt be too much work...its just the price for the parts.

HAHAHAHAHA no man Marta is our emmisions testing. I may have spelled it wrong. Man I wish we had a Marta rail from ATL to Lebanon. I could ride that instead of driving. I love the MARTA train man. The smell of piss the confusing connections etc...

Haha, okay. Just checking.

Yeah, that continuous piss smell is... somehow... homely.

I've been to many a concert on the marta rail. A bit pricey but still better than parking at the shows.

Well he did half way. NADA is National Auto Dealers Association.

Normally he does better than that.
