hi all
new member and just wanted to say hi. I signed up a while back but the time has come to work on my own car. Can't afford to pay people 75 dollars an hour to do it any more. Its actually my wifes car and that is the reason we've always paid someone to work on it. I was scared, probably the reason were still married after 30yrs.The car is a 96 q45 we bought in 99 with 50000 miles. black and tan still in great shape except for the visor mirrors bit the dust this year, some one keyed the passenger door at northpoint mall, Jerk. and now both valve cover gaskets leak belts need replaced. This is our second one we also had a 93 and were so impressed we bought another after my wife totaled it Any way hi to all appreciate you all being here thanks Oh yea car has 160 000 and we plan on driving it another 160000 thanks posting.php?mode=edit&f=177&p=6337255#

:welcome: to NICO!

The belts are very "DIY-able"

Valve cover gaskets are much easier on the '96Q vs. the pre 1994 ones, which used liquid gasket instead of drop-in rubber ones.

You can get new parts at a discount from online suppliers like www.orderinfinitiparts.com and www.everythinginfiniti.com
