Hello to everyone,
I got an 82 Kingcab Datsun, 4x4, manual 5 speed, gasoline engine p/u about a year ago. Ive done a lot of little repairs on the truck to get running decently, but have come to a hault. Im not a mechanic but i love to do my own work on my truck just cause i really enjoy the accomplishments ive acheived on this truck.
seems that my transmission is giving out on me, first gear grinds a lot and fourth seems to pop out of gear quite often. i have noticed that if i dont depress the clutch all the way down, i can get 1st gear to go in with out much problems but im afraid if i keep driving it that way im gonna cause more damage. i really do love my truck and need to hear what i might be able to do before i go big on repairs. any feed back would be greatly appreciated.
