Hey everyone. Just wanted to introduce myself and say hello. I am the proud owner of the old Underground Motorsports 240 with the Rb26 swap some of you may have seen floating around the boards. The car has been out of commission for a year now, and I am tired of waiting! It is in the process of being built and if all goes according to plan should be good to go in the next few months. I was having a miserable experience with the machine shop so I have decided to send the block off to Dynosaur Performance in Texas. The previous owner of this car spoke very highly of them, and their body of work says it all for what kind of a company they are. I am very, very excited to get the car back up and running as soon as possible, and will keep everyone on the boards posted along the way. Thanks again, and wish me luck!

Here is a link to a video that the previous owner made. This was when the car was running a borg werner turbo. Now there is a precision 6765 on there. Faster spool than the borg. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dzio2hfKeRw.

Here are some pics that the previous owner took as well. Image

I hate to say that I've had the car for over a year now and 11 months of that time it's been at the shop. It will see the street again soon though!

So I am picking up the block Thursday...turns out in the time they've had my engine they have only bored the cylinders for a mock up...that is it. Pretty pathetic.

I love the blue color...just need to get the carbon fiber painted. I'm not the biggest fan of the 2 tone look.

Thanks. First things first though...before I get any body work painted I need to get the engine finished! Should be nasty. Somewhere in the 800whp range on a fairly mild tune on E85 and a much much lower boost tune on pump gas. Then after all that is said and done, if I'm not broke and eating scraps, I'll try and have the bumper and hood painted.

it's actually really low as it is now...matter of fact it was so low I had to take off the front bumper to get it on the flat bed when we took it to my buddy's shop. It sits on apexi n1 vspec drag coilovers and honestly any lower and it would have trouble getting in and out of my driveway...although it hasn't been there in a year :(.

Shippers arrived without a wench or any way to load the car since it is not running...even though my invoice stated the car was not running. Now I have to wait until next week. Always something...

Dynosaur Performance will be busy throughout March because of the TX2k11 meet. Ross seems to think the car will be finished by April. More updates to come!
