Oh sweet. Love the dual tips. Would like those on mine, for sure.
Welcome to Nico.
Was 2003 the last year for the QX4? I don't remember.
FYI, I got a call from my dealer last week that someone had traded in a 2001 QX4. Original owner.
Had 74,000 Kms on it (45,000 miles). This thing was like brand new. I took it for a drive, and it was terrific.
I was so tempted to buy it, but my wife would have killed me.
It was listed at $13,900. A little much I thought, even given the mint condition it was in.
Usually dealerships will not keep a 9 year old vehicle on the lot, but this one is still there. It's too nice to send to an auction.
Oh well, next time maybe.

I am SOOO excited to get this installed, you guys fave no idea! So looking online can be deceptive when purchasing parts. The exhaust tips looked hollow online, but once i had them in my hand, i noticed they have a straight thru design with a solid end, and what looks like resonated tips. The description was double wall design, but they had other tips that were resonated, but suppposedly not this one. Anyway, i have a good feeling that these tips will sound BAD-a** with this setup. As soon as i get it back from the muffler shop, i will make sure to take plenty of pics and a video with sound clip to share with everyone:)

Welcome to Nico! Here's a video of my '01 with an 11385 MagnaFlow. The guy that installed it did an absolutely piss-poor job. Hopefully in the next few weeks I'll have everything post-muffler redone.

Thanks! Yeah I'm well aware of your youtube video, which honestly persuaded me into going with a similar setup. Sorry to hear that your guy didn't do a good job on it. I'm taking it to a reputable shop near by that has done work for me back in the day when I had a tricked out civic. Think he wants round 150-200 to weld everything up. I'm hoping he can bend the pipes around my spare, but am ready to take it off if need be. I've been a lurker on this site for the past few months since I bought the qx4 in early april, and finally signed up especially so I can use the search feature. Oh and by the way, nice write-up on the DIY brake rotor/pad replacement Empty V. It really helped me out bout a month back when I replaced mine(Baer slotted/x-drilled rotors w/ hawk hps pads).

welcome to nico! Thats a nice acura, super rare! I used to live near a guy with one, 2 door like that, with nice bbs rims. I waited about 3 years constantly wondering if he was going to sell it and he never did. Feel free to post pics of it I know this is a NISSAN forum but those Legends were masterpieces in my eye.

Welcome to Nico. A good shop can easily wrap the pipe around the tire. I got mine warped around my tire perfectly and never ruined my tires. Good Luck

Well i got my exhaust installed yesterday. I am extremely satisfied with the sound, performance and overall look and the install was pretty damm good. Although i will be taking it back to have them redo the left exhaust tip as it points inward slightly and is a little crooked. Also i think i might have them pull them back a little more under the bumper as i think they look kinda weird with how far they stick out. The total bill ended up being round $300...OUCH!!! But as long as they continue to give me good customer service, and make it perfect, then in my mind it was money well spent. They said it was actually pretty difficult to get all the bends done and have it work without taking out the spare tire which took them over two hours. They also gave me a 2-3yr warranty on all the install work in case their are leaks or any other defects. Here are some pics, and a real quick vido teaser which i will be taking a better one later will a real video camera, not my cell phone.

Hello all! Just want to get your guys feedback: comments contrucive criticism, suggestions and compliments on the new exhaust setup. I will be taking more pics today of what they did with the piping underneath. Let me know what you guys think. Should I have them move them in further underneath the bumper more, so only like one-two inches stick out, enough to just show the magnaflow insignia?

Well, i did have them redo the exhaust tips and tuck them under the bumper a bit tighter. I also painted the inside of the exhaust tips black, as i did not like the look of the reflective chrome resonated part. I have some updated pics that im posting up so let me know what you guys think. I also have a inside the cabin video clip to give you guys an idea of what it sounds like and how loud it is. Let me know what you guys think.

i remember my vortex dual in dual out.. sounded nice but not loud enough, then i remember switching to a true dual with 2 4" round magnaflow.. sounded like a Harley lol, now back to stock (love the Rumble the ram intake gives me) but will be doing a dual in single oversized out soon, this time i'll try my best to remember to take videos of the exhaust and post which bring me to a question.. should i go with magnaflow or is there anything else that sounds meaner on the VG33's?
