I think it's sorta dumb when people say to search. Many time I haven't foudn the answers I were looking for anyways. If i were going to buy a s14 I'd probably swap a Rb into it anyways. That's the motor s14 should have rightfully had in my opinion.

i would turbo the ka, it will save you some money and you will get some decent hp out of it.

^ I agree, but with unlimited funds I would definitely go RB. But in reality, no one has unlimited funds.

The fact that you're looking at purchasing a 240SX shows that you have taste. Stick around and keep reading. If you want to ask a question, first search for the keywords in your question.

Ie, if you're thinking, "Hey, I wonder what makes the best motor swap for my 96 240SX." Before you ask us, "What's what makes the best motor swap for my 96 240SX." Go to the SEARCH button, type in "motor swap" and search the 240 forum. If your question hasn't been answered previously, or answered in a way that makes it clear enough for you to understand, then go ahead and ask us.

Other than that, welcome aboard. I wish you the best in locating a fine example of the S14 bodystyle. I suggest that you stay away from m4d tyt3 JDM body kits, neon lights, and anything that you can find at Pep Boys.

for the record, please do not start a "which motor swap is best" thread, they turn into 10 page my-motor-is-best arguments and dont go anywhere.

i agree with all above but with the neons, whats with that.... neons can be tasteful, as long as the bulbs not shown and they are not blue on a red car or ect. neons are like hondas, poeple make them bad, not the product its self. other than that.... watch out for arguments... ppl love to battle over engines..... swaps are unlimited sr20det (theres red black) CA18det, rb 20 25 26 all turbos.... vg30dett, all kinds of ideas come throught, hell theres a 240 with a 350 in it some where on here, plus plenty of ka24de(t)
