Discussion of Infiniti's amazing (and underrated) sport-luxury crossovers, the EX35 and EX37. For 2014, the EX series will be renamed QX50, in line with Ininfiit's new naming conventions.

I have been reading this forum for quite some time now and last week I bought a new 2008 Infiniti for my wife. It is moonlite white with the premium package. I have added body side moldings, pin striping and rear bumper protector. Will post pictures when the rain stops.

Traded in an 05 Chrysler with the Hemi for this car and have to say that the acceleration in this car is excelllent also.

Welcome to Nico Gordo. :

Congrats on the new addition to your family. If there is anything we can help you with please do not hesitate to ask, the EX group is by far one of if not the best groups on Nico.

We too traded in a 2005 Black Chrysler 300C with a Hemi... for the EX35

I'm glad we did that before Chrysler bottomed out.

My Wife loves the EX35 and I swear she takes the long way everywhere she goes, just so she can drive the thing more.

Our used car department has been picking up Hemis of all varieties. The SRT8s are amazing tire smokers and they can accelerate like a bat out of hell. However their build quality and now lack of service locations couple that with a rapid depreciation rate and you have a loosing proposition. I would buy one as a toy but not my primary mode of transportation.

The EX is a much better longer term investment.

We have over 300 miles on our EX now and my wife and I both love it, we were reluctant to give up the Chrysler with the Hemi at first, but no regrets now.

I have followed the directions to add my pictures (they are in photobucket) but when I click the "insert image" and right click on (IMG) "paste" is not available to add the pictures. Any ideas what I'm doing wrong?

May I ask where did you get that rear bumper protector? Is it OEM or aftermarket? And if you don't mind how much is it?

Thanks

I got the rear bumper at the dealers and paid a ridiculous price of $235, but it was the only one he had, so I got it. I have an '09 Murano and got it on the internet for $95.00. Only ones I could locate on line were the rubber ones and I didn't think they would look too good.
