There are many options. The main difference is the additive package. Using the Nissan fluid would be best, but other options are available and a good compromise. You can also send an email to the other Australian members I listed in the above post and ask them what they buy.
This is the original stuff: Nissan Fluid A - ACTIVE Part number: E2901-62U01
You can use Original Mercedes ZH-M - sold as MB Hydraulic Fluid. It is produced by Aral Vitamol as ZH-M hydraulic fluid. (Packaging differs from country to country):
You can also use Febi/Bilstein part number 2615 which for short is called FEBI ZH-M. Some Mercedes dealers also sell it:
Another option is Pentosin CHF 11S Synthetic Hydraulic Fluid:
The non-synthetic version is Pentosin CHF 7.1 Hydraulic Fluid:
I've been using AeroShell® Fluid 41 lately because I can get it easily and reasonably priced:
AeroShell Fluid 41 is a mineral based aircraft hydraulic oil. It meets military specification MIL-H-5606G. AeroShell Fluid 41 meets superclean requirements.
