Welcome to the world of twisted perversions and puppies known as NICO. Try a B&M shifter hear almost nothng but good things about them. Use the red search button and I'm sure you can find stuff to back this up. Once again welcome.

yah the B&M shifter is definitely a good buy, a little pricey, but you can feel the improvement. as for brakes, the 300Z brake upgrade is a very popular one round here, and the Q45 brake upgrade's been done too, use the search button and check the FAQ's for some better info.

welcome to the boards, pretty much what they said use the search button but if you caaan't find the right information don't be afraid to ask, just make sure it isn't some dumb common sense question. the only reason i say that is that there has been some newbie bashing that i have witnessed the last couple months but nothing you can't ignore and most people are pretty helpful and experienced

I have & love the B&M Shifter.. It makes some noise, but has an awesome feel.

300z/Skyline/Q45 brakes might be overkill if you arent Autocrossing. Brembo Rotors, Stainless lines & EBC pads(or any quality pad for that matter) Will give you a great feel for not so much $$

Nissan didn't make a short shifter, they made what was called a Solid Shifter. This one-piece design was supposed to give the shifter a better feel, but didn't actually decrease the length of the shifts. Waste of time and money if you ask me.

Thats actually not made by Nissan, just another alternative to the B&M short shifter. There are quite a few people using that shifter on this board.

The GTS-T brakes? I've heard about it, heard it can be done, and want to do so myself. You will definately need the GTS-T's master cylinder though.
