I need how to install back brakes for a 05 Altima. Was wondering the car had drums or pads ? How to tell? Thanks

I'd imagine it depends on the year of your Altima. More than likely only older models would have drum brakes. I have an 05 and I have disc brakes on all four corners.

Btw, welcome to Nico. Get some pics and MODs up on your ride.

Enjoy your stay ~

Pads are simple. Loosen one bolt on the caliper, completely remove the other bolt, swing the caliper out from the disc about the "loosened" bolt, pop the old pads out, pop the new pads in, screw or push caliper piston back into brake housing, reassemble in reverse order.

Hmmm . . . I should just start changing mine on my own, instead of paying my mother's drunk friend to do it

This should help:http://vehiclefixer.com/videos...art-1

Also, trusting a drunk with something as important as your brakes

This man is perpetually drunk. I'd imagine at this point in his life, taking away his alcohol would be as affective as removing oxygen from his lungs. He's a funtioning alchoholic I suppose lol. If I got in an accident, I'd just sue him and buy two new cars - always a silver lining lol
