I've been checking this forum out for over a month and decided to register today. I was planning to buy the honda accord coupe but I bought a 08 Altima Coupe 2.5 CVT in precision gray instead.

I already got 18" enkei RS-V with kumho ecsta spt 225/45R18 and eibach pro kit on it. planning to mod it a lil bit with a front lip and exhaust next, but i'm not goin overboard like what i did with my 99 honda civic (over $25k invested).

Welcome. I was considering the Accord Coupe myself, but the Altima looks soooo much nicer and I couldn't justify a car that requires premium gas in this day and age. Doesn't take much driving in the AC to realize you made an absolutely correct decision in buying it!

Welcome! I'm glad I got the A/C instead of the Accord. I didn't think it was as sporty as the A/C.

Great choice on the Altima, the Accord looks like a Hyundai from the back (cheap and ugly).

You will have lots of fun flying past the 4-Cyl Accords with your 2.5

Justify?...I ONLY put premium on my car. I don't even bother with regular or mid-grade. Besides, you spend that much for a 3.5 why would you complain about the price of gas. It's like buying a nice Harley and complaining about the cost of the saddlebags

But still even though the 2.5 can run on regular (87) I never do. For a couple bucks extra a fill why bother, just fill up on premium it lasts longer anyways and your engine loves it.

Yes I realize that the comment was geared towards a 4 cyl. 2.5 but none the less, I have to agree with you. running on premium will have a better result on any engine and it does last longer....so long you keep the revs down.

Welcome. I am glad you picked the Altima Coupe over Honda Accord Coupe too. Precision gray looks so good on the coupe .
