Hey everyone...I just wanted to say hi and introduce myself. I'm a huge huge Nissan fan and I'm getting a 240 in the summer. I think this forum is great and I've read here for a while I decided to make an account. I always have questions and never had anyone to answer them until now. Hope to post here many more times and soon enough I'll be putting up pics of my 240sx! :ylsuper

Welcome to NICO. Are you buying your 240 next summer... because this summer is pretty much over.... in Maine we're already FREEZING......... What model 240sx are you looking at? Good luck in your search.

First of all thanks for the welcomes, I feel much at home here because I've been reading here for so long. I wasn't going to get a 240 until next summer but I found a really good deal on one. This guy is selling one pretty cheap with about 39k miles on it. It's a 98 SE and he only wants 10 grand for it. He says price is negotiable. He's buying a 350z so he has to get rid of it. I may get the car next week, can't even tell you how excited I am. My first car would basically be a dream car for me. I'm gonna start working soon, some friends have already been throwing suggestions at me. Saying I should swap the motor for the SR20. However, I read about a guy who turbod whis stock engine and he runs over 300HP (not just with the turbo) but he had no complaints about a turbo in a stock engine. The 1998 specs say 155HP with 160 lb/ft of torque. Greddy has a nice turbo for the 240, that's later down the road though I'm just happy to get one. Again thanks a lot and if anyone has some suggestions or perhaps where I could find a nice body kit I would appreciate it, I like the Bomex kits but would like to see something else before I go ahead and buy one.

sounds like you are swiming in the deep dough part of the pool. Good luck on yer buy, and body kit choice. Do a searh on this board for body kits, do-luck, trial etc.

you shold find something that strikes yer eye.
