Hello to all I am new to the site and have a 98 q45 with a 4.1 and need to replace the valve cover gaskets I was wondering if anyone can be kind enough to tell me what tools I will need and a quick rundown. If it's like any regular valve cover I should be fine just making sure I have the correct size sockets and what not. I'm more of a chevy guy. And one last thing I did try the search first but no luck thanks.

Can't recall socket sizes, but that should be obvious. Just need to tack a little RTV to hold the gaskets in place while you reset the valve covers. Tightening specs and sequence is in the FSM.

But while you have them off, you may want to consider loosening the plenum so you can remove and clean the EGR tube therein, and the associated valve. Same with TB.
