You need a Koyo plus get a nismo thermostat cause it opens at a lower temp

sound good the only reason why i have a Integra radiator is because I have no space at all I have about 2in between the radiator and the Engine

dang an integra radiator is mini sized. Try drilling out holes farther toward your radiator support to place the radiator, then rolling the inner radiator spport to get more space.

Also I wouldn't waste any money on the Nismo thermostat... it costs between $70-90 where I've seen it and it opens 10 degrees cooler. A stock thermostat is $8 from a parts store.

Koyos are overrated??

I HAD the same problem. hour of driving it overheated. Bought a Koyo for 285 brand new and never over heated again. I had 2 12" puller fans from Autozone, put in the koyo and made them pushers because of clearance problems and no more overheating problems. I even have a stock thermostat.-Alex

try running a koyo, a 3" thick FMIC, and 2 pusherfans in the dead of summer in a hot climate (110 degrees+). i know of one RB25 in particular that has been plauged with overheating problems for nearly 2 years. his best cooling setup involved the stock 240sx radiator while the worst was with a koyo.

koyo's are overrated. a 2 row aluminum radiator is MORE than adequate on a RB, it cools 10x better than a copper core (stock type)

I kinda laughed when I read the integra radiator part...

Get rid of that crap. Whatever you use, besides for an integra radiator, make sure you have good fans..

btw, I also think KOYO is overrated... :P

A Koyo Radiator is more than 4x thick than the stock KA radiator. That thing is Wafer thick. I drove more than 1 hour and the coolant would boil to 220. Koyo Radiator with the same autozone pusher fans, 12x24x3" Intercooler stuffed under the front bumper andnthe car still cools in 100 degree weather. Obviously something else was wrong. I agree koyos are still overrated though.

I have the RB25 in my 91 HB and I've got a Greddy intercooler and the aluminum Koyo radiator and a 14'' pusher fan thats on all the time and I'm overheating as much as 230 deg. on a hot day, I had it looked at and my radiator, water pump, ect.. were fine, He thinks its a air flow issue(not getting enough) I plan on getting a FAL dule fans and closing any space around the radiator where air can get by, plus I'm going to build some kind of spoiler right underneith the radiator to direct air better up into it and when i put my body kit on that will allow alot more air to the radaitor and then i shouldn't be overheating at all.....I hope!!I like the Koyo radiator if anything it ads bling!!...lol

So All I really need is a S13 Radiator and better air flow you guys think.I might just end up getting a regular Koyo Radiator and have more air flow I think that might work

I got a 2 row stock radiator on my s14 with a front mount and 2 10" permacool fans on puller, one pusher and no over heating issues. I had ac also and unless I was not moving with the ac on it would over heat but other than that it ran great. The Autozone fans don't push or pull alot of cfms they're only like 800 at the most I think. If you get a combination that has more than 2500 cfm your good with a stock radiator.

I'm in the middle of my S14 RB25 swap and was looking at the same questions. But last night i compared the stock R33 radiator and the stocker on the s14 and the s14's is a "Calsonic 54" and the R33's is a "Calsonic 56". My s14 is an automatic (for the moment) and I've heard the auto radiators are designed to take a higher thermal load so are a little beefier. But comparing the s14 and R33, they are both the same row width, same left to right length, if anything i bet the R33's is just about an inch taller up and down.

But I was planning on running the stock s14 radiator with two 10" pullers (which one's will fit?) and two 10" pushers that will be on the AC Condensor. What should I sent the fan engage temp at?

Oh and if anyone has any extra info about getting the AC to work with this swap let me know.
