Hi everyone, new to the board here. I posted this on the general forum as well, but maybe someone here can help. I'm looking at getting a G37 Convertible and hoping to get a good deal on a remaining 2010. I've seen mentions of VPP savings on a few postings. Can anyone tell me any more about this? I've checked out the AMEX Zag pricing but I hope I can do even better than that.
Thanks.

the best thing to do is decide what (color/options etc) you want and then find a dealer that has the car and negotiate the price... you should be able to get for dealer invoice +$500/$1500, depending on your negotiating skills.
Get the VIN from the dealer and verify with Infiniti Customer Service the factory option the car was built to.... this will give a good base to negotiate from. IMHO

Thanks everyone for the advice. I got the car yesterday! Here are the details on the pricing...

2010 G37 Convertible, Black/Graphite with Premium, Navi, Performance Tires
MSRP - $50,775
Amount Paid - $44,000 (dealer said $2K below invoice)

We asked about the VPP since we both work for a large corporation but we didn't end up qualifying. Either way it was a good deal I think. We also got external financing through Bank of America and were able to get 2.74% vs. Infiniti's special APR of 2.9%.

Congrats on the purchase! :mike
I know... I told my husband we had to go to the dealership quick, before they realized they made a mistake. It was 2.99%, but they said it would be reduced 0.25% for a purchase over $25K, which obviously wasn't an issue.

Hi...hobo76...Congrats on your new Vert...
I was just wondering that the Amount you Paid for the car included tax and everything?
($44,000 out the door?)

$44 was the negotiated price. Tax down here is 7%, so after tax, tag and dealer fees it came out to about $47,600. If it was $44 including tax I would buy 2 and sell one at a profit!
