Hi everyone

I'm new to this forum. I'm from Toronto. I came from a 2006 Honda Civic Coupe SI and I purchase a used Infiniti M37S, I'm in love with it so much fun. However, Winter is coming and I'm wondering if anyone has info on downsizing my tires and what good tire brand to use in winter ?

Sincerely

Derek

Welcome to the forum.

Toronto isn't much worse than upstate NY. That being said, I run Pirelli Cinturato P7 All-Seasons on my car.

I'm running Continental Extreme Contact DWS 06s. We don't really get prolonged, if any at all, serious inclemental weather here in Dallas, so they haven't been "extreme" tested, but they get good reviews....my $0.02 (what's that in Canadian dollars-lol)

Thank you pedsemdoc and Ilya

Have any one down size the rims on their M37s ? Are you able to down size the rim to 18 inch ?

I live in Minneapolis, Minnesota and I run set of 18" oem alloys wrapped with Nokian Hakkapelitta R2 during the winter season.

One thing to note, while the 18" alloys came with the car initially, after the brake system was upgraded to the Akeono calipers they will no longer clear the bbk unless you put on at least a 5mm wheel spacers.

I have to agree with pedsemdoc, I have the Continental Extreme Contact DWS 06s and they are pretty good, Georgia weather is a little bit similar to Texas and so far no issues.
