Hello NICO club,

I am new to this forum and a new Z owner. I just recently bought me a 1975 Datsun 280z. The car is running and has a clean body, but does need a lot of work. I don't know where to start with my car. It needs work done in-n-out. Any ideas, suggestions, or comments will be greatly appreciated. And if any good sites to where I can order parts to restore my Z. Thanks!

Welcome to NICO and congrats on the Z! Unfortunately with a "clean body" on a "running car" you haven't given us any insight into what kind of "work needs done in-n-out". For parts, MSA (zcarparts.com) is probably the largest, stock upgrades used etc, VB (blackdragonauto.com) sells a lot of OE and stock replacement parts, Courtesy Nissan (courtesyparts.com) is a dealer that specializes in the Z cars. Please tell us more about what the car needs, and pic's are helpful.

Hi Gabe. Welcome to NICO.
We love pictures.
I would start with maybe the suspension. Maybe a New set of rubber bushings would make it handle better.

Your 240 is sweet! Great job with the restoration! I haven't been able to figure out how to upload pics
