New member - New Q owner

Hi all. I just bought a pristine black/black 94Q w/ 85K miles on it. I am HOOKED big time.

Just wanted to say hi and tell you I investigated thoroughly on this board before I bought it and hope to be a regular contributor in the future.

Welcome, nice car. Mine's a black on black 94. I tinted the windows, the heat was TOO much.

Look around you'll find TONS of helpful tips.

I am a real big Corvette fan and I save my racing for that car. That being said, i do plan on getting acquanited with the Q first and them adding some go-fast/stop-fast goodies to it.

I absolutely love the way this car straddles the balance between performance and luxury. also, IMHO I think the early Q's are more handsome than the 97-01s (not that they are anything to sneer at!) and seem to be more of an enthusiasts car as well.

After 6 years of sidepipes and burnouts in the summers and really forgettable cars in the winter, I finally have a car that evenly balances the Vette. Together with my wife's 2000 Millenia S, I think we have all the bases covered from speed to handling to looks to luxury.

Welcome. Very nice looking car.

Low mileage, too. You have many years of enjoyment ahead.

I am quite fond of Black on Black. The last 5 cars and 1 truck, have been black on black.

Now that I have my silver 1994 Q, I am becoming fond of silver.
