I picked up a new to me 08 Nissan Altima SE 6-speed a few months back and decided to see if I can get some history out of it by finding the past owner or if any of y'all can point stuff out to me.

I never really been a Nissan/import guy. I've always been in a Z28 since I was 16 (22 now) and From Chattanooga, TN(anyone else arear here?) Had 2 bolt on 95 A4's and one H/C/I/E M6

Here my coupe

Also forgot:
On car with purchase:
Injen Intake
Greddy Tc-i Exhaust from the looks of it
and the 20inch II Crave No5 rims

I got:
DDM Tuning 5k Hid lows
Ebay yellow fogs
new OEM Shift knob
Interior bulbs changed out to superbright white leds from VLEDs
and installed Switchback LED 6k Turn Signals(forgot resistors so hyperflash)

Want:
C-mod
Stillen Lip

and I think it has the racing line y-pipe, cause it looks like the one from the picture on their website but I have never seen a installed pic

I'm from Chattanooga, lived there from '64 to '99. I lived in Hixson, Chattanooga and finally Harrison. I have an 08, had it since August of 07.
Welcome to NICO!

I been here my whole life. Went from east Chattanooga(hood) to Red Bank. My car has surprised me a lot at how quick it is. I've pulled g35s barely and a 350z, mustangs and z28, and love when a civic tries something. And I turns heads all the time, mainly cause its debaged and they are wondering what it is.

And Been trying to find other A/C's around here but No one does anything around here except for the honda's in the walmat and hobby lobby parking lots.

Welcome!

Kinda surprised no one has popped up on here with one of my previous cars. Love these threads.

Welcome!

I wish the purchase of every new/used Nissan included a NICO business card :)

Yeah I've been a lurker for awhile and finally decided to join up. I been looking over the forums getting ideas on what to do next. I still can't believe how much a cam kit is for this car. Or just about anything aftermarket.

And figured out my car does have the racing line y pipe since the huge cat that's supposed to be there is gone.

Nice find, my man. A 3.5 6MT is a rare breed. You might want to consider an UpRev tune, if you haven't done one already. Some cam timing and air-fuel play got me a handful more ponies. The stock air-fuel ratios are s***. It will be easy to dyno since you have a 6 speed.

You could check if it has it already. I imagine the last owner would have advertised it, but whose to say? I think the tunes all come with a valet mode. Although it's supposed to flash the cruise control light when you switch maps, mine doesn't.

One way to tell is to test whether you have a tune is to check for a valet mode. Press and hold the cruise control lever down. While holding it, hit the Cancel button (or whichever is the top bottom) three times with a half second pause between each press to enter valet mode. Let go of the lever and rev the engine or drive. My car's rev limiter is set to 1500RPM in valet mode.

To set it back, just hold the lever down and hit cancel once. Pressing cancel once goes into the tuned map, and twice into the normal map.

Yeah I've been reading p on getting a tune and there is even A dealer Up in Soddy-Daisy which is only like 10mins from where I live and going to get some pricing in the morning.

And I believe its the TC-i exhaust from all the sound clips I've listened to and the pictures on it on the GReddy website. I like the way it sounds gives a nice deep tone. and will always turn a 350z or G35's head whenever I drive by.
